Media Market Place and the Future

Feb. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- The Media Market Place event taking place in Leeds on 18th March 2011 is the first event of its kind  - bringing together Yorkshire’s creative digital and communications industries.  2b Acting – the makers of the weekly internet soap drama ‘Today and Tomorrow’ will be launching their media collaboration service at the event.   The service provides small businesses with a simple one stop service that they can use to promote their brand online and on mobile Apps by linking with the soap.
“It is very difficult for small businesses to use digital media for promotion as it can be costly and time consuming to first produce engaging media content and then distribute it in a way that will attract attention” says David Jones, the creative producer of 2b Acting,  “We see media collaboration as the way forward as it allows us to do what we’re good at in creating digital entertainment and attracting audiences so that businesses that use our service can concentrate on what they’re good at – A win, win.”
Using digital media for marketing is seen as the future with social networks like Facebook and video sites like Youtube being used by millions every day.  Other emerging technologies such as mobile phone Apps and QR code readers shows that there are new ways of communicating and there are businesses such a 2b Acting that can make using them simple and cost effective.
