“ LUX” Grand Opening Celebration

Feb. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- (Charlotte, NC) February 22, 2011- Y Square Management  and Chris "FUNNYMAN" Robinson  present Tone-X & Friends Each and Every Tuesday Night at a new home,  LUX  in South End Charlotte, (Formerly Jillian’s), hosted by comedians, Tone-X and Chris Funnyman Robinson along with Fly Ty of My 92.7 FM.

Tuesday, March 1, LUX welcomes the comedy show on its opening night for an evening of Laughs with a purpose as we donate proceeds from the event to Amped 4-A-Cure, a local non-profit supporting cancer research through music.

Amped-4-A-Cure, Inc. uses the universal language of music as the vehicle to deliver the message to the masses the importance of getting behind the efforts of cancer research, education and awareness.  By supporting all genres of music just as we are Amped 4-A-Cure for all types of cancer, A4AC is able to reach and spread the word to all people, from all walks of life.

The Tone-X & Friends show along with LUX, provide an upscale nightlife experience in thriving area of South End, where partygoers can see and be seen! Upstage, comedians and talented musical acts perform under the backdrop of plush seating, exclusive VIP areas and rich surroundings, not to mention a menu of delectable foods and specialty drinks.

“We’re excited about moving the comedy show to such a central location with décor  that makes our crowd want to step their partying up a notch,” Says Yolanda Belser, CEO of Y Square Management.  “We will offer a networking mixer before and after the comedy show to extend your regular Tuesday night socializing and with our new partnership with Amped 4-A-Cure, we’re eager to break in the LUX building and kick off CIAA week!”

LUX is located at 200 Bland Street, between South Tryon Street and South Blvd. Doors will open at 7pm Tuesday, March 1st and Show time starts at 8:30pm.
