March 2, 2011 - PRLog -- The North Florida Land Trust, dedicated to preserving land for conservation in seven counties, will hold a memorable charity event on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 7 p.m. at the J.Johnson Gallery, 177 4th Ave. in Jacksonville Beach Fla.

The Eco-Safari themed evening will feature a live auction for an African Safari for two and other great prizes. Catering by Liz Grenamyer, a full bar, silent auction, live music and lots of fun and surprises all for a great cause.

For over 11 years the North Florida Land Trust has been dedicated to permanently preserving natural areas and special places. The mission of the North Florida Land Trust is to preserve and protect open space in Duval, Baker, Clay, St. Johns, Flagler, Nassau and Putnam counties. Preservation of open space adds to quality of life, preserves precious natural habitats and the rural character of Northeast Florida for future generations.

The J. Johnson Gallery is the perfect setting for this charity gala. Housed in a magnificent building on the shore of Jacksonville Beach, the gallery captures a level of sophistication typically found in the world's major metropolitan cities. The state-of-the-art gallery space was designed to showcase works ranging from modern masters and established artists to the finest mid-career and emerging artists.
