Crystal Healing Workshop Pt. I & II Classes in Park Slope, Brooklyn

March 3, 2011 - PRLog -- In the workshops you will learn simple techniques to help in your understanding and practice of working with crystals and stones for healing. The workshop leader, Kristin Reed, is a Reiki Master/Teacher trained by the International Center for Reiki Training and is a certified Crystal Healing Practitioner by Infinite Light Healing Studies Center in Sedona, AZ.

In the Part I  workshop you will learn:
• An explanation of how crystals lend themselves to be healing helpers and
some basic theory on crystal healing work.
• The chakra system and how crystals can work to balance it
• How crystals can enhance, facilitate, deepen and assist in meditation.
• How to clear crystals and charge them with healing intention.
• How to use a crystal pendulum to connect to the higher self for answers.
• How to set up a crystal grid for healing yourself and others, clearing
and protecting space, healing the earth and for meditation.
• How to select crystals and make a basic chakra balancing crystal kit.
• How to combine Crystal Healing work with Reiki

In the Part II  workshop you will learn:
• How to work with several crystal body layouts and how to design your own for your needs
• How to identify the many forms of Quartz crystals by their features, textures, color and configurations and how they can assist us with our healing intentions.
• How to make a crystal elixir and how elixirs work

These workshops feature hands on experience with simple instructions and support so that you can leave the class knowing how to practice with crystals on your own.

Hand-outs are provided with each class covering all class material so you won’t need to spend time much time taking notes and you can concentrate more on learning while in the workshop. We will make healing stones available for your use during the class which you can purchase afterward, should you be interested.

The investment for each workshop is $125. A deposit of $50 will hold your space for the Crystal Healing Workshop Pt. I.  A deposit of $100 will reserve your space for both workshops. Pt.
