Co-Directors Janet Beyries and Alan Katof have put together a group of 17 talented artists participating with their artwork in the gallery which is operating as an independent cooperative gallery. They have more space and a very interesting layout for art to be displayed and are looking forward to new activity in their location. Keep an eye out for their new logo….a toucan on a paint brush, everybody is getting into the act. The Phantom Gallery 17 artists are from surrounding North County areas and enthusiastically worked so to maintain a gallery in Carlsbad for the past few years. Offering affordable art and an opportunity to expose the public to the education of art, they provide demos, art education in support of the surrounding community. Hoping to grow to approximately 20 artists, co-director, Janet Beyries says, ”she is grateful to Sima Management and it's wonderful manager, Lisa Snyder in the Village who has providied the opportunity of a space for The Phantom Gallery. It offers artists a place to display their talents”. Appropriately, “Where Business and Artists Unite” The Phantom is ready for business with Art, Music and Demos. Please join the Phantom in their grand appearance on the evening of Thursdays on the Coast, the Experience. The event is hosted by the Carlsbad Village Association . The Village is going to be filled with Music, Art, Shopping and Fine Dining all open to the public and is Free. It will run every fourth Thursday of the month, 5:30pm to 8:30pm and will be infused with the excitement of a self guided tour of shopping, dining, art, & musicians, all providing the public with a real treat.
