PUR2o Serves Up High Quality Drinking Water at 4th Annual Garden State GreenFest

March 7, 2011 - PRLog -- PUR2o, a developer of unique water filtration and purification systems that produce the highest quality drinking water will once again participate as a vendor of sustainable products at Garden State Greenfest 2011, taking place March 18th, 19th and 20th at Kean University. GreenFest is an informational and environmental festival that features seminars, demonstrations, and keynote addresses. The mission of GreenFest is to inspire while informing society about living a "greener" lifestyle.

For the first time at GreenFest, organizers are hosting a GreenFest Film Festival. Throughout the weekend on campus; "green-focused" film selections will be showcased. Some of the scheduled screenings include Dirt! The Movie, The End of the Line and The Farmer and the Horse. These movies and documentaries expose environmental issues and inspire others to make the world a cleaner and more eco-friendly place to live.

Garden State GreenFest will also offer various programs covering green lifestyle, home and garden, construction, business, energy, and conservation topics. The 3rd Annual Garden State Green Awards sponsored by Kean University will acknowledge individuals and organizations that have made significant efforts toward preservation of the planet.

As in years past, PUR2o will help Garden State GreenFest reduce its waste by providing free, high quality drinking water for all attendees, thus eliminating the need for the sale of bottled water on site.

PUR2o Owner and EVP, Mizar Turdiu says the company considers it a privilege to provide drinking water and raise awareness of the need to remove plastic bottles from our daily lives. “Garden State GreenFest is embracing the concept of waste reduction, through its keynote addresses and by allowing us to provide this service. It is a very simple thing we can to do make change, provide healthy water, and educate the consumer how plastic bottles negatively impact our overall health and that of the planet. We consider ourselves fortunate to be able to take part in this year’s Garden State GreenFest.”

Visitors to the PUR2o booth will also be able to submit a home water sample for on the spot free, basic water quality testing.  Visitors to the fair are encouraged to bring a reusable container so that they can take advantage of PUR2o’s contribution to the fair. For those without a container, PUR2o will provide PLA - Corn based cups which bio-degrade in 90 days.
