Dancer, Asia Diamond, Joins the New Warner Bros. Movie, “A Cinderella Story”, for ABC Family

ATLANTA, GA--Dancer, Asia Diamond has been hand-selected to star in the new Warner Bros. Studios movie project, “A Cinderella Story” for ABC Family. The third film in the Warner Bros. Studios "Cinderella Story" franchise has already begun shooting since February in Wilmington, NC. This musical tele-movie is set to be a unique mix of “High School Musical” meets “Glee” adding even more spunk featuring Asia Diamond as a featured dancer.

"This is something I've always wanted to do with my dancing which is to be in movies and concert tours. One of my dreams have finally come true. I've worked hard to accomplish my goals. I look forward to being a part of this wonderful cast," says Asia Diamond on landing her new dancing role in "A Cinderella Story."

As a professional dancer with more than 15 years experience, Asia Diamond has been featured in a range of fashion magazines such as Kontrol Magazine and fashion campaigns as one of the new faces of Levi’s jeans Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Asia Diamond has been casted in a variety of music videos showcasing her acting and dancing abilities from features in Lil Mama’s "G-Slide", Ray Lavender and Lil Chukee’s "Woozy", Capone N’ Noreaga and Busta Rhymes' "Rotate", and many other music videos.

“A Cinderella Story” stars Lucy Hale who currently plays the role of Aria Montgomery on the hit ABC Family series "Pretty Little Liars". Asia has been casted as a featured dancer in the line-up, also starring alongside Titus Makin, Jr. (GLEE). In “A Cinderella Story,” the character Cyrano De Bergerac meets Cinderella. Over-worked, harried and terrified of being put back in foster care, 17 year old Katie (Lucy Hale) does her stepmother and step-siblings' bidding without complaining. Vocally gifted, Katie feels particularly upset when forced to lay down singing tracks so that her untalented stepsister, Bev Van Ravensway, can hopefully win a recording contract from Massive Records - who's company President, Harvey Morgan, is scouting for new spectacular talent at a talent showcase for the Performing Arts Department at a prestigious private school.
