Capt James Nelson Returns to Fred Hall Fishing Tackle and Boating Show

March 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Promoting the best value in sportfishing, award winning San Diego fishing guide Captain James Nelson will speak at upcoming Fred Hall Fishing Tackle and Boating Shows starting with the Long Beach show.

"It's good to be back," says Nelson, currently wrapping up an instructional DVD. "Last year, I only did one seminar day in Long Beach. I'm guessing it went well, because they have me booked for all four days this year."

James will be speaking at the saltwater tank in Long Beach March 9-13, at 5:30PM Wed, Thur, Fri, 7:00PM Sat, and 12noon Sun.

Captain James Nelson will be showing some of his proven techniques for catching Sand Bass, Spotted Bay Bass, Halibut, Bonefish, and more. If it swims in San Diego, or Los Angeles County Bays, chances are Licensed Fishing Guide James Nelson has caught them, and/or guided someone to catch them.

Later in the month, he will also be at the Del Mar shows March 24-27. Times to be announced.

"Yeah, my buddy Kelly Salmans and I shot most of the on-the-water footage in November, I did most of the in house stuff over the next couple of months, and I am just now wrapping it up. It's gonna be nice. It's an instructional DVD - very little voyerism (watching me catch fish). We show tide charts; current reports, how to read currents and finding the best times to fish, how to find areas that hold fish, knots, rigs, baits, and basic set-ups. The first DVD is very basic, and should help the beginner while entertaining the more advanced. It's all a part of my 'teach them how to fish' philosophy."
