March 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Athletes Performance Rankings Score for Sports Fans and Athletes
SportsPPL.com has revealed the most accurate sports performance rankings indicator ever. Simple statistics have never been capable of providing sports fans, gamblers and athletes with an accurate idea of how an individual or team is likely to perform in the future. However, Samir Hanna Safar’s innovative and highly accurate Player Performance Level (PPL) system has moved the goalposts.

San Diego, CA, March 8, 2011 – Sports fans and athletes alike have for far too long relied upon mere statistics to provide a sadly inaccurate picture of future performances of a team or individual. However, that is no longer the case with the arrival of Samir Hanna Safar’s “unique, revolutionary and incredibly reliable website, SportsPPL.com”. Now every sportsperson, gambler and fantasy league enthusiast can “be impressed by its outstanding results”.
From soccer to surfing, cricket to crossfit and football to fitness, SportsPPL.com offers a wealth of “invaluable, relevant and up-to-date information that cannot be found anywhere else”.
Previously, only past performances and season averages were on offer to guide punters and professionals – until SportsPPL.com founder Safar came on the scene last year with his innovative and highly accurate Player Performance Level (PPL) scoring. He said: “I wanted a system that works for all athletes and all sports. This is my new secret weapon.”
Crucially, PPL scores change from game to game or event to event, giving the most accurate data available anywhere in cyberspace.
Therefore, Safar’s PPL method ignores traditional calculating systems in favor of a complicated set of algorithms that he “created to make it simple to evaluate athletes at their current performance level by producing a single score that is a blessing to gamblers, sportspeople and fantasy league devotees”.
Safar reckons that established forecasting processes are inadequate, leaving him unimpressed by providing little more than a historical record of averages by using past records – disregarding crucial information on an athlete’s mental state, health, the effects of a positive or negative environment, other outside influences such as relationships with coaches, teammates, media and even family, as well as the rankings of teammates.
Safar added: “Traditional prediction methods are very limited without factoring these – and many more – details into making major decisions of where to place bets, how to choose a fantasy team or for an athlete to make comparisons against fellow sportspeople.”
Producing his first website in June 2010, Safar “worked on American football athletes and teams. I thought, ‘This is the most complicated sport, scoring wise, so if I can have all the factors included in PPL to rank a player then it should work for all sports’”.
With Safar employing professional coaches and consultants to compose a list of template questions that relate to every athlete and sport, a PPL score is so precise that fans and athletes alike will be “truly astounded”.
Data such as age, height and weight are included in a set of questions a sportsperson must complete, although Safar himself updates big-name stars’ information. Each question possesses a base and maximum value for answers centered on the top athlete in that sport or position, and is weighted by importance.
Safar continued: “I felt the rating of and ranking of athletes is unfair. For example, when watching baseball, why should the pitcher’s stats drop because an outfielder did not catch the ball and the opposite team gets a home run? That killed me!
“I also felt that some team members don’t get as much credit as others – such as defenders in comparison to strikers in soccer. So this system levels the playing field in that it is now possible for a defender and striker to have the same score if their performance level are the same.”
Ultimately, having as much fresh information available relating to all relevant aspects of a sportsperson’s makeup will generate definite results.
“Anyone who is a fan of sport will be impressed by our site, the PPL scoring system and the results they achieve with its use. It’s just a better, more accurate system that produces outstanding results. Best of all, it’s free to use and free to join if you’re an active sports player,” Safar concluded.
