Follow on Google News | Main Line School Hosts Summer Program for Boys & Girls Ages 10-14Devon Prep Summer Program Offers Sports, Academics and Fun
This four week, co-educational program, seeks to energize and motivate students to grow academically, socially and physically through age appropriate courses and activities. The exciting curriculum will challenge students to choose from several course and extracurricular options, all of which will be instructed and moderated by energetic and experienced instructors. This program takes place on the picturesque 20 acre campus of Devon Preparatory School, located at 363 North Valley Forge Road in Devon, Chester County. Most of the classes are held in the new St. Anthony Hall as well as on the school’s athletic fields and in the gymnasium. Devon Prep’s Summer Program includes two sessions, each running for two weeks. Session 1 runs from June 20 to July 1 and Session 2 from July 11 to 22. Participants may choose to take a sports camp or dramatic arts in the morning, followed by two course options in the afternoon. Recreational swimming is also available. The day begins at 8:30 AM and ends at 3 PM. Courses include algebra readiness, computer programming, digital photography, dramatic arts, drumming, and guitar tutorials, entrance test preparation, history explorations, geometry readiness, Latin readiness, math skill development, statistics, study skills, video production, web building, 2D art, and 3D art. The sports camps include baseball, basketball, golf, soccer, track and lacrosse. Tuition is $590 per two week session for two sports camps and/or dramatic arts, and two courses; $1080 for both sessions (four weeks). An after school program will be available for an additional fee.
