The project, called Virus Wars (http://www.viruswarsgame.com) The game is available in three languages – English, French and German – and rewards players with discounts of up to 50% on anti-virus software, as well as the chance to win an iPad. Koko Digital Director Chris Steele said: “Virus Wars is one of the biggest projects we’ve ever worked on, and features multiple levels, and a wide selection of enemies and upgrades. “It’s a strategic puzzle game, where the aim is to defend your base from the attacking virtual viruses for as long as possible, by purchasing and strategically placing your army of defence towers. “It’s up to you to build a strong defence and stop them destroying your base.” Virus Wars is also available to play on Facebook (http://apps.facebook.com/ Chris Steele said: “The response has been fantastic, from both the audience and BitDefender, and we’re already starting to discuss potential future plans to extend their social media presence.” Koko Digital was established by directors Chris Steele, Karl Bloor and Stuart Howarth in 2006 to create viral advergames and social media applications.
