Royse Law Firm Adds Amy Hespenheide and Moves to Larger Headquarters Office

March 15, 2011 - PRLog -- SAN FRANCISCO--Roger Royse, founder of Royse Law Firm, a corporate and tax law firm, announced the addition of Attorney Amy Hespenheide to the firm’s San Francisco office.  He also announced that the Palo Alto, California Royse Law Firm headquarters office has moved from its El Camino Real location to 1717 Embarcadero Road in Palo Alto (formerly occupied by Dorsey & Whitney).  “We are delighted to welcome Amy to our San Francisco office.  She counsels clients in the areas of estate planning, charitable giving, trust administration, and probate. She provides additional depth to our international tax and estate planning practice.  In addition, we have moved our Palo Alto headquarters to accommodate the firm’s growth and to more fully serve our clients,” said Royse.  Royse added that the firm’s San Jose office has merged into the larger Embarcadero Road headquarters to streamline Silicon Valley operations and client service.

Hespenheide joins the firm’s trusts and estates practice, led by David Spence, who joined Royse Law Firm in 2009.  Hespenheide’s practice includes counsel to charitable organizations and private foundations.  Prior to joining Royse Law Firm, Hespenheide worked at Shartsis Friese LLP in San Francisco.  She has over 10 years of experience as a civil litigator focused on trust litigation, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract and business torts.  Between 1998 and 2000, Hespenheide worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Edward C. Reed, Jr., United States District Judge for the District of Nevada.

Amy Hespenheide received her LL.M. in taxation with honors from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2010.  She received her J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, in 1998 and her B.A. from Wellesley College in 1990, where she graduated magna cum laude. Hespenheide is a member of the Trusts and Estates Section of the State Bar of California and the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section of the San Francisco Bar Association.  She has been a volunteer member of the San Francisco Symphony Chorus since 2001.
