Thumbtack Media Sponsors Two SXSW Events

The energy here is electric.  You can feel it in the air everywhere.  Twitter is blowing up with reports of celebrities in town, flyer after flyer is found around town and inboxes are filling up with invitations.  Yes, it's here again, the 25th year of South By Southwest, in its home base of Austin, TX.  

This year there are more attendees and bands playing than ever recorded in past years, and the city is full of amazing people from all over the world.  Out of all of these shows happening during the festival, Thumbtack Media is very proud to be a part of two amazing day shows that are already reaching capacity in online RSVP's.  

Thursday, March 17th:
I Luv Video Fo Sho Case (I Luv Video @ 2915 Guadalupe St, Austin, TX 78705):

This showcase features 8 amazing bands on the rise from Austin and around the country, including Thumbtack's own Monahans.  Start off your St. Patrick's Day off right with a FREE day show without a wristband required, starting at noon.  Local companies help to sponsor this event, including Keith Gary Productions, I Luv Video, Spiderhouse Cafe, Rupert Neve Designs, Panda Productions, and Movin Decibels.  Live video and audio capture will be rolling throughout, and refreshments will be provided.  This will be a phenomenal event that no one should miss!

Ramble Creek Recording Studio Day Show @ ShowLush's Backyard (1704 Kinney Ave, 78704):

Ramble Creek Recording Studios (http://ramblecreek.com/) presents a day show unlike any other, including current and former recording acts that have passed through the Austin based studio's doors.  Owner/Producer/Engineer Britton Beisenherz (also a member of Monahans) has worked directly with every artist on this show's bill.  Britton has created an amazing atmosphere at the Creek with a top of the line studio and facilities that allow artists a free space to create and record.  And, time and time again, he continues to produce beautiful and powerful albums.  Additional sponsorship provided by Tito's Handmade Vodka, Lone Star Beer and Waialua Soda Works.  Bring a lawn chair, sit back and enjoy.  You don't want to miss out on this event!
