March 16, 2011 - PRLog -- (Kingston - Jamaica) On her Face Book page upcoming Reggae Artiste Keera Rootz extended “maximum respect” to “local radio station DJs who actually play songs from young artistes without being paid” In the post. The artiste stated, “Keera Rootz got love for ya! DJ Sweets & mi engineer fren that I don’t even know from Bess 100FM; Lady Deidra Fame FM; News Talk 93.7FM, I been hearing and I really appreciate it. Give Thanks!” Still fresh on the scene Keera Rootz officially launched her music career in 2010.  She chose to be a reggae singer, citing at the time that ‘"When music is a part of you, there's nothing you can do but share it."

Keera believes that message must be in the music and despite her desire to be trendy and appreciated by teenagers and young adults especially in Jamaica, she is adamant about keeping the authenticity of Reggae in her songs. She has released three tracks to date namely; ‘Sweet Rub-A-Dub’ (her first release), ‘Fall’ and ‘Stand Guard.’ Keera’s first official single, produced by Kleva Roots Productions on the Familiar Roots Rhythm compilation album released on itunes, made good on its release.  This compilation album also features tracks by Asante Amen, Little Hero, Determine and Teflon to name a few. Keera Rootz has been featured on several websites and the playlists of several radio DJ’s across Europe.
