Services for home health care are usually required by the people who are incapacitated in some degree and need help for doing their daily activities. Private Care Services

Getting private care for their elders or loved ones is preferred by many families today. Private care givers assist those people who wish to remain in their own homes as long as it is safe and functionally feasible for them to do so. Private care services generally offer assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, meal preparation and housekeeping. In-Home Health Care Services

In-home care aims to make it possible for people to remain at home rather than using long-term institutional-based nursing care. The in-home health care services are offered to those persons who are old or disabled and dependent on others for their daily needs. Services provided by in home caregivers range from basic household help to full-fledged nursing care, depending on the needs of the elders involved.

Assisted Living

Assisted living is a type of residential care for elders who can no longer function alone. These persons usually require assistance in ADLs like dressing, bathing, eating etc, but do not require full-time nursing care. These types of facilities are usually regulated by Community Care Licensing under the Department of Social Services.

Adult Day Care Services:

Persons with medical or mental problems or the one who have serious limitations in their mobility should opt for adult day care service. The services include nursing care, social and recreational activities, cooking meals and exercise programs and are usually offered at some cost depending on the services needed.
