Kinesis Survey Technologies Provides QR Code Generation to Launch Mobile Surveys

March 18, 2011 - PRLog -- AUSTIN, TX (March 18, 2011) - Kinesis Survey Technologies LLC (Kinesis), the industry leader for future-proof market research software solutions, today announced that Kinesis Survey™ now includes built-in support for Quick Response (QR) code generation, thereby enabling respondents to take a picture of a displayed QR code with their camera phone and immediately trigger a mobile survey.

The QR code functionality is included in the latest release of Kinesis Survey™, the leading multimode survey solution. Kinesis Survey™ automatically generates the QR code and associates it to the survey, and the code can contain additional data such as location, product and item information.  

QR code usage is growing across industries because of the codes’ ability to quickly and easily deliver targeted mobile content. The codes consist of two-dimensional black modules against a white background. Photographing a QR code first requires that a QR code reader application (app) is installed on the mobile device. Several free and nominal cost apps are available for download on a variety of mobile devices.
