Whittier Trust Company Adds Veteran Client Advisor as Senior VP

Zarifes to the firm as a senior vice president and member of the Executive Committee. Zarifes joins Whittier Trust Company after a distinguished 25-year career working with high net worth individuals and families. He was managing director at Bessemer Trust for the past 11 years. At Whittier, Zarifes will be responsible for day-to-day management of client relationships and will be based at the firm’s South Pasadena headquarters.

Prior to working for Bessemer Trust, Zarifes served as principal at Desmond, Marcello and Amster, specializing in the valuation of privately-held companies and intangible assets. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics, magna cum laude, from Claremont McKenna College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Epsilon. Zarifes has a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School and currently serves as a Trustee on the San Marino Schools’ Foundation.
