March 30, 2011 - PRLog -- In todays economy many families are faced with financial challenges.  Charities also are face with these challenges of having to raise donations to fund their organization. Award Winning Childrens Book Authors Anthony M.T. Majewski and Maximus "MAX" An English Labrador understand these challenges and continue to find ways to help one charity; Leader Dogs for the Blind.  

Anthony M.T. Majewski and Max have recently produced a video highlighting their new book titled, "Dogs Work Too! From Max's Point Of View" which shares the story of Leader Dogs for the Blind from a dogs prospective.  “Dogs Work Too! From Max’s Point of View” once again follows the “adventures” of six-year old yellow English Labrador Retriever, Max, educating adults and children about how working dogs at Leader Dogs for the Blind “have everyday responsibilities, just like humans,” Majewski says. The video features Max's animal as well Future Leader Dog friends and educates readers about Blindness and Leader Dogs for the Blind.  

Recently, Anthony and Max learned that their video has been selected to participate in the 2011 Peoples Telly Awards on YouTube.

Their video is listed under the category: Internet/Online Programs, Segments, or Promotional Pieces.  The entry title of their video is: Read With Max! Childrens Book "Dogs Work Too!" A Story About Leader Dogs for the Blind.  

This competition and People Telly Awards are chosen specifically by online community of voters and the Authors need your help. They are seeking the online community supporter to view their video and rate it using the ever famous “thumbs up” system for voting.  Videos that earn the most thumbs up – win.

Those interested in helping Anthony and Max share the message of Leader Dogs for the Blind, are asked to visit and view their video at the YouTube Telly Award Website on  http://www.youtube.com/tellyawards?x=TNRiC8lMBoU and cast a "THUMBS UP"  vote.  The competiton starts on March 28th, 2011 and last for four weeks.

“Educating children through the experience of animals, especially dogs participating in others’ lives on a daily basis, connects to kids’ own lives,” says Majewski. “From a dog’s perspective, kids can understand the value of compassion, friendship, and hard work – and what it means to ‘give back,” Majewski adds.
