Follow on Google News | Harmonic Generator - Le Down Side Up TourJet setting from hometown Marseille in the south of France, Harmonic Generator set off on the 'Le Downside Up Tour' across Australia starting April 2011.
The band travelled to Australia mid 2010 to gain experience in a country that breathes rock music and have performed a number of shows in Victoria and NSW with some great Aussie bands to acclimatise in the lead up to 'Le Downside Up Tour'. Kicking off in SE Queensland April 29th, the band has made an impression signing to Australia's Blue Tongue Management, the band recorded their first single 'Dead On The Ground' in Sydney which was mixed by Scott Kingman (The Screaming Jets) and will be launched via Australian label Lungata Records 29th April in time for their Gold Coast show. Harmonic Generator recorded a second track to go with their original, one they heard while touring Australia and reminded them of home, 'The Angels' Marseille. The band has turned a classic Oz rock song into an aggressive punk rumble rock and in the words of The Angels publicist Catherine Swinton, "My son loves it and so do I!!!!! Got a Foo Fighters Angry sound." 'Le Downside Up Tour' engulfs Geelong, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Ipswich and every show hosts lashings of Australia's hottest rock, metal and punk bands from each region including a massive day at Brisbane's multi stage Caxton Street Seafood & Wine Festival with bands such as New Zealand's Shihad. Harmonic Generator head back to Europe after May for the northern hemisphere summer festival season and will be returning to Australia early 2012 to complete their debut album for release in that year Check out their tunes at http://www.facebook.com/ http://www.reverbnation.com/ Le Downside Up Tour - Australia Friday April 29th Springwood Hotel Springwood Qld- $12 W/- 1.1.1, F1 Elevens, Kinoath and Forever The Optimist Saturday April 30th Miami Tavern - Gold Coast Qld $12 W/- 1.1.1, F1 Elevens, Iron Bird, Hellfire Pass Sunday May 1st Caxton Street Seafood and Wine Festival - Caxton Qld W/- Shihad, Jimmy Z, The Radiators and more Wednesday May 11th Sandringham Hotel - Newtown NSW $ 10 W/- Bonney Read and Inner City Crepes Thursday May 12th Ruby's Lounge - Belmont Vic $10 W/- Don Fernando, Bombing Angels, Lilly's Radio Friday May 13th $10 The Espy - St Kilda Vic $10 W/- Don Fernando, Bombing Angels, Lilly's Radio Sunday May 15th The Nash - Geelong Vic $10 W/- The Deep End, Fast Track, Shangai Times Saturday May 28th Caledonian Hotel - Ipswich Qld W/- 1.1.1, Celebrity Stalker, Mums Tennis Friends, To Sha Munda and Benny Cash # # # Blue Tongue Management is a free lance national music management business covering all aspects of this multi facetted industry in Australia End
