McKenna Long & Aldridge Welcomes City Attorney David Fine to Denver Office

April 7, 2011 - PRLog -- DENVER — The law firm of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP (MLA) announced today that Denver City Attorney David R. Fine will join the firm’s Denver office on April 25 as a partner.  Fine’s practice will focus on business disputes and commercial litigation, employment law, and public policy matters.

Fine was sworn in as Denver’s City Attorney by then-Mayor John Hickenlooper in October 2007.  A fourth-generation Coloradoan, Fine comes to MLA with more than 20 years of significant legal experience.  He began his legal career as a law clerk for Colorado Supreme Court Justice George E. Lohr, after which he was an associate at Hill & Robbins, PC. He also practiced with the law firm of Kelly Garnsey Hubbell + Lass where he focused on civil and employment litigation and handled public policy matters.

Fine graduated from Northwestern University Law School, cum laude, in 1987.  He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin, where he graduated with distinction in 1982 with a B.A. in History and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He is a member of the Denver Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
