Follow on Google News | 37th annual Walk for AnimalsWalking for 30,000 animals...a short walk that goes for miles, and miles, and miles
By: Deb Blazer Animal Humane Society will care for more than 30,000 animals this year at its five locations in Buffalo, Coon Rapids, Golden Valley, St. Paul and Woodbury. The community programs and services provided are funded in part by this important fundraiser. Last year, Walk for Animals participants raised more than $1 million dollars to support adoption, rescue, outreach and training efforts at Animal Humane Society. There is still plenty of time to register and raise pledges for the Walk and it’s easy. Those interested can go online, create a personal fundraising webpage, and encourage family, friends and colleagues to pledge money to help animals in our community.
