This exciting exhibition featuring the works of artists Jim Somers and Barry Zawacki  reveals the unique processes used to discover the simplicity of color and form in and through nature. Recycled material in the case of Barry Zawacki's work becomes  eloquent, colorful wall reliefs. Bold and inspiring  these works reflect both the artist reverence for our environment and his ability to abstract the essence of gesture in natural forms. Jim Somers through photography discovers hidden shapes and subtle rhythms found in common landscapes. The artist directs us to a world often overlooked, but one containing complete compositions, full and rich with a sense of mystery. Both artist work and teach in Morris County New Jersey.
