By: DocMiami On March 24, 2011 DocMiami International Film Festival held its annual poster/award unveiling event at the Romano’s Macaroni Grill in Doral located at 8700 NW 18th Terrace where special invited guests enjoyed a dinner and cocktail celebration. Chairperson of the Doral Cultural Affairs Advisory Board, Carmen Johnson and City of Doral Vice-Mayor Michael DiPietro had the honor of unveling the 2011 Official DocMiami poster created by Producer/Director/ DocMiami Internatrional Film Festiavl will take place September 22-25th at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa. The Awards Gala will take palce the evening of September 25th with returning host Gloria Ordaz and will also include performances by Tito Puente, Jr, spoken word poet Rich Ferguson and “The Godfather of Mexican Rhythm and Blues” Javier Batiz. Also, this year, Multi-GRAMMY® Distinguished guests present at the unveiling included: City of Doral Vice Mayor Michael DiPietro, Doral Councilman, Pete Cabrera, Chairperson of the Doral Cultural Affairs Advisory Board, Carmen Johnsons as well as DocMiami Board Member, Tito Puente, Jr., Carlos Zambrano of Zambrano Entertainment as well as other welcomed guests.
