EGS presented at IDS 2011, Cologne, DentalCad its solution for companies in the dental industry

April 15, 2011 - PRLog -- EGS, dynamic software engineering company, today leader in reverse engineering, presented his own solution to IDS for the dental industry. After a first analysis of the market, Gabriele Canella Chief Executive Officer has decided to dedicate a portion of its  team of developers on this project heavily and the first results shown at the fair in Cologne have confirmed this choice. At the world dental event, EGS OEM partners have suggested the integrated solution, made in EGS, to the  operators, obtaining a very high rating.
In dental industry is now a tangible awareness of having to introduce CAD-CAM system in support of and for the players in the market, offering its solutions and materials, these products could be crucial to tow the range already on offer. The scanner offered by EGS is based on structured light technology, which uses a beam of light to detect the real three-dimensional mold of the patient. This system has certain advantages such as, for example, the highly configurable (through a quick procedure you can change the acquisition strategy, covering the different case studies) and the very broad applicability (application areas ranging from industry to art to medical science).
This is the first step of the process and the data thus obtained is processed through DentalCad, target driven environment where there is a sequence of steps. Wizard  setup reinforce the simplicity of the solution, one of the main goals of EGS. Another element of context, along with complete technical specifications, it is definitely interface that allows the user to have a graphics area wide and as clean as possible. Thanks to free editing you get a preview of the right final result, for example a prosthesis or implant, allowing to better assess the aesthetic element. Also notable is the plant abutment, interesting and innovative environment.
