Infiltrator® Systems Introduces the Plastic IM-1060™ Septic Tank

April 15, 2011 - PRLog -- OLD SAYBROOK, Conn.—Infiltrator Systems introduces the lightweight, strong and durable Infiltrator IM-1060 septic tank. A revolutionary improvement in plastic septic tank design, the injection molded IM-1060 offers long-term exceptional strength and is available with Infiltrator’s line of custom-fit risers and heavy-duty lids. The precisely designed mid-seam joint accepts an engineered EPDM gasket, eliminating the seepage issues prevalent in other plastic septic tank designs.

The Infiltrator IM-1060 is suitable for use as a septic tank, pump tank, or rainwater (non-potable) tank. Infiltrator’s EPDM gasket design utilizes technology and materials from the sanitary sewer pipe industry to deliver a watertight seal. The two-piece design is permanently fastened using a series of non-corrosive plastic alignment dowels and locking seam clips. The IM-1060 is assembled and sold through a network of certified Infiltrator distributors. The tank can be installed with 6” to 48” of cover and can be pumped dry during pump-outs.
