Dallas Author, Kennisha Hill, Launches "The Love Covers Campaign"

May 9, 2011 - PRLog -- Christian Fiction Author, Kennisha Hill, does more than pen page-turning novels. With a desire to reach others beyond the books, Hill has launched The Love Covers Campaign, where she along with her team will travel around the Dallas Fort-Worth metroplex with a message of love, hope and inspiration.

"My heart aches for the hurting, lost, lonely and the needy," Hill says. "With this campaign, my team and I hope to spread the love of Christ by volunteering at various women's shelters, feeding the homeless, and showing others the agape love of Christ. That's what it's all about."

A faith-based campaign, "Love Covers" has a motto that derived from the bible scripture 1 Peter 4:8, where Peter encourages us to love deeply because love covers a multitude of sin.

"This scripture speaks to my heart powerfully because it tells us to love one another regardless of where they are in life. God's love for us is immeasurable and yet he requires us to love our neighbors. The best we can do to demonstrate his love is by loving each other like he says, not because of but in spite of," Hill adds. "And acts of service speak louder than words."

The Love Covers Campaign was birthed following the release of her sophomore novel "Uncovered", where the motto scripture was written before the story began. Hill says, "I used that scripture in Uncovered because that's what it's about. She [Tamara] was struggling with guilt from a past mistake and hoped and prayed she could be forgiven and loved anyway in spite of her mess.
