Quincy, MA Single-family Home Prices Rise, Sales Fall February 2011

June 12, 2011 - PRLog -- The median price of single-family homes in Quincy, Massachusetts increased as sales decreased in February 2011, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, an exclusive buyer agent real estate firm.

The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.

The median price of single-family homes increased 4.2 percent in February 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $13,000.  Single-family home sales in Quincy, MA dropped 12.5 percent, with three less sales in February of 2011.

Condominium sales in Quincy, MA also dropped in February, falling 26.6 percent or by four sales compared to February 2010. The median price of condos decreased $40,112 in February 2011, a 17.5 percent drop compared to February 2010.

Multi-family home prices dropped 12.3 percent in February 2011, a difference of $56,000 compared to the previous year. Sales of multi-family homes also dropped, falling 28.6 percent in February 2011, a difference of two sales.
