Jeff Gordon Chevrolet Offers Expanded Military Discount For Fort Bragg Soldiers

April 26, 2011 - PRLog -- Beginning May 1, 2011 military professionals and their families will be able to take advantage of discounts that range between $500 and $4000 off the suggested retail price of most Chevrolet  automobiles.

General Motors reports that in 2010 their military discount program provided more than 70,000 discounts to military personnel and their families, value at more than $60 million.

While many auto makers offer a military discount, GM’s seems to stand out as the leader in the industry. Ford offers a discount on specific vehicles through their military site, but the discount amount is not specified. Both Chrysler and Toyota offer a $500 rebate on specific models. However, Toyota’s offer is only for active duty military. Non active duty Reserve and Retired Military Personnel are not eligible for the rebate.

For even more savings, USAA, a company that provides financing and insurance for military members, is offering an additional discount to add to the GM military discount program. Those who finance through USAA will save an extra $750** off the purchase of an eligible 2011 GM vehicle, in addition to any other discounts.

To further recognize and honor military members and their families, those who purchase or lease a new Chevrolet during the month of May will receive a special honor badge for their new vehicle. The badge features a yellow ribbon and "Honor" script on a silver and black background.

The badge is offered to those who use their GM military discount in May on all models except the Chevy Volt.

At the customer's request, Jeff Gordon Chevrolet will install the badges on their new Chevrolet at no additional charge. The badge features a yellow ribbon and "Honor" script, a subtle recognition of their service.

Military members who are considering a Chevrolet purchase in May will have the opportunity to buy one of only 99 "Honor & Valor" Limited Edition 2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS vehicles. The car will will be available to order on gmmilitarydiscount.com in May.
