April 26, 2011 - PRLog -- THOUSAND OAKS, CALIF.--Conejo Valley Days (CVD, May 4 - 8) is bringing back one of its most popular and exciting attractions. On Wednesday and Thursday, May 4 and 5, ConejoX3 motocross freestyle competition featuring X Games multiple gold medal winners Todd Potter, Chuck Carothers and Greg Hartman along with other top riders takes over CVD's 3,000-seat arena. Show times are 6:30 p.m. both days. Just last week Todd Potter set a new world record for the length of a back flip.

The competition on Wednesday is Freestyle and Best Whip. Thursday features Freestyle and Step-up, one of the most popular but rarely performed skills events in motocross. "This is a very special opportunity to see riders of this caliber as up close as the audience will be in the CVD arena," says Kevin Rock, CVD ConejoX3 coordinator. "Friends shouldn’t let friends do this at home but friends should take friends to see the pros do it live at CX3."

ConejoX3 tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children (ages four through 12). Children ages three are free but they must share a single seat with an adult. Tickets can be purchased on the Conejo Valley Days website, during CVD or at the motocross box office. Special discounts are available when purchasing both CVD entry and ConejoX3 tickets online.

"The previous two editions of ConejoX were sell-outs," says Rock. "You usually have to travel to L.A for this kind of heavy-duty competition." Keep up to date as more riders are confirmed for CX3 at http://facebook.com/cxmotocross.

The 55th Annual Conejo Valley Days is at Conejo Creek Park South (23 Freeway/Janss Rd. exit) in Thousand Oaks. The five-day event features live entertainment, over 40 carnival rides, over 80 vendors, a section just for kids and free admission to Gymkhana, a thrilling equestrian competition. Also new this year is the first ever Extreme Rodeo in Ventura County. Rodeo times are Saturday, May 7 at 2:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. in the main arena.
