Ram and Mopar Sponsor Race Series

April 27, 2011 - PRLog -- Recently, Ram Trucks and Mopar teamed up for their plans for the Off-Road Championship (TORC) Series. This series features five PRO-class drivers behind the wheel of a Ram Truck for the 14-race series that will get underway Memorial Day weekend.

Drivers of Traxxas Racing include Rob MacCachren sponsored by Ram Truck and Samuel Hubinette sponsored by Mopar and Ram Truck. Drivers of Menzies Motorsports include Ricky Johnson sponsored by Red Bull with associate sponsorship from Ram Truck and Mopar, Bryce Menzies sponsored by Red Bull with associate sponsorship from Ram Truck and Mopar, and Luke Johnson sponsored by Red Bull with associate sponsorship from Ram Truck and Mopar.

Viewers of the Off-Road Championship (TORC) Series will see plenty of new Ram Truck and Mopar branding in this year’s series, Truck Trend reports. Ram will be the official vehicle of TORC and the Mopar Ram Runner will the official pace vehicle.

Autoguide.com said TORC is one of the “most grueling” race series with lots of jumps and fender banging, much like a four-wheeled motocross.

The sponsorship deal puts five drivers at the wheel of a Ram truck during the TORC series and race fans will have the chance to experience an off-road test drive in a Ram truck.
