Ssshhh!... Silent Auction Boosts Charity donation

April 28, 2011 - PRLog -- The JD Parties team once again arranged a selection of Christmas Party nights at Tatton Park, Cheshire and with the addition of a silent auction to add to their already successful Charity Fun Casino, have managed to more than treble the previous year’s amount raised.

Running throughout November and December 2010 these popular festive parties generated a massive £10,936.44 for the life-saving air ambulance charity.

NWAA’s Head of Development Mark Carroll said; “Once again JD Parties (http://www.jdparties.co.uk) have shown their commitment to our charity. We are extremely grateful to the team for their dedication and support and for the fantastic amount they have raised.”

The North West Air Ambulance is a charity and it costs almost £4 million a year to keep their two helicopters in the air and saving lives. Without the generosity of local businesses and the donations they receive from members of the public they would not be able to operate this vital service.
