LIBERAL BONNIE CROMBIE MP Slips Farther Behind as The Globe and Mail Endorses The Conservatives

April 28, 2011 - PRLog -- The news got worse today for the Liberal Party and Bonnie Crombie MP Mississauga-Streetsville, as The Globe and Mail endorsed Stephen Harper and the Conservatives.

The paper goes on to say, “Those who disdain the Harper approach should consider his overall record, which is good. The Prime Minister and the Conservative Party have demonstrated principled judgment on the economic file.”

It finishes the editorial by stating, “If the result is a confident new Parliament, it could help propel Canada into a fresh period of innovation, government reform and global ambition. Stephen Harper and the Conservatives are best positioned to guide Canada there.”

This is not great news for Liberal MP Bonnie Crombie as the Mississauga News endorsed a Conservative majority on Tuesday, leaving all Liberal MPs out in the cold in Mississauga.

For his part, Brad Butt, Conservative, Mississauga-Streetsville, has been knocking on doors everyday and is hearing the same from the voters.

“Everyone is telling me that we need a strong, stable, majority government in Ottawa and Stephen Harper is the only leader with the party to do that,” said Butt.

Brad Butt, 43, is a life long resident of Mississauga who has dedicated 30 years of volunteer community service to his community.  He was the Founding Chair of Safe City Mississauga, serves on the boards of the Mississauga Food Bank, Mississauga Sports Council and Peel Children’s Aid Foundation as well as a member of the Mississauga Committee of Adjustment.  He was a founding member of the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee and was named Young Citizen of the Year in 1986.

Brad also served as a television host and commentator on Rogers Television in Peel for more than fifteen years.

Brad is the President of the Greater Toronto Apartment Association a position he has held since 1999.  Brad is married to Rhonda and has two daughters Sarah and Megan.
