April 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Rob Rouse is set to bring his latest stand-up show to the Norwich Arts Centre this summer.

Entitled The Great Escape, the new act was inspired by the various mix-ups and misfortunes that befell the comedian after he decided to move from London to the Peak District with his family.

Rouse's second national tour begins in Bristol on Friday May 6th and is due to arrive at the Norfolk venue on Thursday June 23rd.

With TV credits such as The Friday Night Project, 8 Out of Ten Cats, Guilty Pleasures and Celebrity Juice to his name, the 37-year-old funnyman should be a familiar face to many members of the audience.

Rouse, who counts the likes of Eric Morecambe, Tommy Cooper and Harry Enfield among his influences, has won various critical plaudits for his humorous and hyperactive storytelling.

Tickets for his gig at the Norwich Arts Centre are available to buy online, priced at £12. The show is due to begin at 20:30 BST.
