Follow on Google News | ![]() Brookline, MA Single-family Home Prices Down, Sales Rise Q1 2011Brookline, MA single-family home prices decreased in Q1 2011 compared to Q1 2010 while sales increased, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only, LLC.

The median price of single-family homes fell 10.6 percent in Q1 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $123,500. Single- Condominium prices increased 11.6 percent in Q1 2011 compared to the same time in the previous year, a difference of $51,000. Condo sales dropped drastically, falling 28.9 percent compared to Q1 2010, a difference of 24 sales. The median price of multi-family homes decreased 7.3 percent in the first quarter of 2011, a difference of $85,000 compared to Q1 2010. Sales increased 25 percent, although a difference of only one sale.
