Chelmsford, MA Single-family Home Prices Down, Sales Rise Q1 2011

June 13, 2011 - PRLog -- The median price of single-family homes in Chelmsford, Massachusetts decreased in the first quarter 2011 while sales slightly increased, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, an exclusive buyer agent real estate firm.

The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.

The median price of single-family homes fell 12.3 percent in Q1 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $44,500.  Single-family home sales in Chelmsford, MA rose 22.5 percent in Q1 2011, a difference of nine sales compared to Q1 2010.

Condominium prices increased 7.2 percent in Q1 2011 compared to the same time in the previous year, a difference of $13,000. Condo sales remained flat, with 21 sales in the first quarter of both 2010 and 2011.

There were zero multi-family homes sold in Q1 of 2011, down from one sale in Q1 2010.
