Follow on Google News | ![]() Haverhill, MA Single-family Home Prices Down, Sales Rise March 2011Haverhill, MA single-family home prices decreased in March 2011 compared to March 2010 while sales increased, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only, LLC.
By: Richard Rosa The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service. The median price of single-family homes fell 21.9 percent in March 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $53,500. Single- Condominium prices decreased 20.1 percent in March 2011 compared to the same time in the previous year, a difference of $32,750. Condo sales dropped 33.3 percent in March 2011, a difference of six sales compared to March of the previous year. There were six less Multi-family homes sold in March 2011 compared to March 2010, a drop of 60 percent in sales. The median price of multi-family homes also fell, dropping 1.5 percent or $2,000 compared to March 2010.
