California Scooter Company Announces Police Motorcycle

April 30, 2011 - PRLog -- California Scooter Company (CSC Motorcycles) announced today the addition of a police version to its popular line of small made-in-America motorcycles.   California Scooter Company’s new police motorcycle, designated the CSC-150P, is available in a standard black-and-white paint scheme, with other department colors available on a special order basis.  Standard equipment includes a calibrated speedometer, windshield, storage rack, saddlebags, siren, engine guards, and police lighting.

The CSC-150P motorcycle meets the demands for high mobility, high maneuverability, and rapid response in highly-congested urban settings.   The small motorcycle’s short wheelbase, small diameter wheels, and light weight allow it to go places and maneuver through areas not navigable by larger police motorcycles.  The motorcycle’s classic American styling receives strongly-positive public reactions, making the CSC-150P motorcycle ideal for department community affairs and police duties in tourist areas and urban settings.  The CSC-150P motorcycle offers very low maintenance costs compared to other police motorcycles, particularly in the areas of brake, tire, and clutch maintenance.  In addition to electric starting, the CSC-150P retains a traditional kick starter.
