Sustainable Designs allow Texans to live, work and play in a way that is more efficient, profitable, secure and pleasurable but most importantly a way that does not compromise our environmental future or stress natural resources.  Entries were judged by the following criteria:

-Architectural expression that embraces the ethic of sustainability
‐ Minimal ecological impact
‐ Design for human performance
‐ Design for flexibility and adaptability

“The work these firms do in their communities every year truly gifts the people of their cities.” said Kolby Davidson, State Conference Chair. “They transform or create spaces  into powerful and sustainable new creations that people are proud and excited to embrace, celebrate and utilize.  We have a saying in our organization- “we live here,” and these award-winning professionals truly embrace their communities from both a professional and personal standpoint.”
