Chancellor This year saw the event managed in-house for the first time and despite at power outage at the venue that had the potential to disrupt the start, the staff proved more than capable of putting on a first class event. Thankfully power was restored before George Osborne stepped up to address delegates. Red Dog photography has been a regular at the British Chambers event since 2008, working for the organisers to provide them with a library of images for promotion and display. The business has worked at most event venues throughout the UK and with many of the leading conference and exhibition organisers. Duncan Robb of Red Dog photography is used to the demands of the events industry and the need to work quickly and discretely to capture images that organisers can use. The events industry imposes some unusual problems for photographers and in some cases images need to be available for the media almost immediately. Event organisers need images they can use as required and copyright issues can often present problems. They need to be clear who owns the images and what restrictions are placed on their use. Thankfully Red Dog supply images on a copyright free basis with an online hosting facility giving organisers the option to review them and download as necessary. Organisers also have the option to let the public view the images or allow access to authorised personnel only.
