Goal achievement enhanced with social networking

David Fealkoff recently launched ALittleHelpFromOurFriends dot-com—a social networking site for people to map out their goals and connect with others.

“I wanted to create a place where people could engage in meaningful conversation, a place where people could inspire others, and work together to achieve their goals,” said Fealkoff. “At ALittleHelp we embrace the notion that anything is possible.  We’re just trying to improve the odds.”

People are happiest when engaged in challenging efforts with others.  Benjamin Franklin understood this idea when he and his friends formed a mutual improvement club that met regularly for 40 years.  ALittleHelp aims to promote the same kind of mutual support in a modern, virtual environment.  

Users can post goals to their profile, find partners who have similar goals or special skills, cheer other members on and keep a journal of their daily progress.  The site also provides information and commentary on goal setting and management via the website blog and feature articles.

“Writing down my goals and sharing them with others on ALittleHelp makes them seem more achievable,” said Jennifer Grossman, an active user of ALittleHelp. “Seeing others’ goals and connecting with them is inspiring and provides a positive support system for all of us to work together and enjoy the journey.”
