RE/MAX Metro Chicago Real Estate Network's Balloon to Visit Rhodes School in River Grove on May 25

May 12, 2011 - PRLog -- The RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon will visit Rhodes School, 8931 W. Fullerton Ave., River Grove, Ill., on May 25, where the balloon crew will present an interactive educational program developed and sponsored by the RE/MAX metro Chicago real estate network.

The audience will be 600 students, as well as staff and invited guests, who will learn about various aspects of ballooning, including its history and the scientific principles involved.  They also will see a demonstration on how the balloon functions.  The RE/MAX balloon and crew will present more than 100 educational programs to schools across northern Illinois this year.

The program will begin at 8:30 a.m. outdoors on the school grounds, weather permitting, where the balloon envelope will be inflated with hot air to its full 75-foot height.  After the inflation is complete, the program will move to the school gym, where students will hear a detailed presentation about hot air balloons.  If weather makes it necessary to move the entire program indoors, the balloon envelope will be inflated with cold air so that students can walk inside it as part of the presentation.
