(Kingston, Jamaica) Since re-inventing himself and capturing his native genre in a blend with the Hip-Hop a genre in a way that is acceptable to fans; Tafari now sees an increase in positive responses toward his music. One of his most current releases, a single entitle, ‘Money In My Pocket,’ hit the Itunes Top 100 Reggae Songs Chart the first week it was released then went on to achieved a ‘Highest Itunes Position” @#43. The song also hit Greece and Sweden Top 100 Reggae Songs Chart on Itunes before slipping under. Currently, the single has re-surfaced @#97 on Itunes Sweden Top 100 Reggae Songs Chart. The importance one might ask? ‘Itunes charts are calculated based on real time data’ what does this means to Tafari? His ‘Money In My Pocket’ single has significantly impacted international Reggae fans, a milestone this artiste has longed for. We hope to see him continue to break new ground in his bid to become internationally acclaimed in the near future. ‘A Nuh So Me Waan Live’ Strikes Number 1 Once Again! It has done it again! Yes folks, on yet another Jamaican Reggae chart, Nesbeth’s ‘A Nuh So Mi Waan Live’ single strikes Number 1 on Outaroad Weekly Top Ten Reggae Chart. On Stampede Street Top 15 Reggae Songs Chart the single is #12, #18 on the Caribbean Top 30 Reggae/Soca/ Can Stevie Face ‘Caan Go Roun’ Capture the Top Spot from Vybz Kartel? It would seem Stevie Face’s ‘Caan Go Roun’ track on the Run Run riddim produced by Sting Ray Records is looking to capture the number 1 position from Vybz Kartel this week on Toronto’s Radio Dubplate Top Ten Dancehall and Reggae Singles Chart. The song is perched at #2 following Kartel’s Dancehall Hero track. ‘Indeed a good race to follow “Reggae against Dancehall, can he do it?’ Let us wait and see. Over in the UK the same song is grounded on Choice FM Reggae charts. Obviously a favourite among UK fans, the single which held the number 1 spot for weeks on the chart has only slipped to the #8 position recently which it now holds. On DJ Gusma Top 20 Reggae (Italy) Chart the song now holds the #10 position. Stevie’s popular single, ‘Thank You for Loving Me’ is #19 on New Style Radio (UK) Top 10 Reggae Chart compiled by Chris Coxson, #8 on Stampede Street and Outaroad Street Charts respectively and #19 on the Jamaica Music Countdown Reggae Top 25 Reggae Singles Chart this week. ONE ‘N’ ONES Dancehall artiste Bramma popular ‘Nuh Trus People” track on Big Ship Label holds the #6 spot on the New England Top 10 Dancehall Chart. On Stampede Street Chart Top 20 Reggae Singles Sophia Squire’s Nature’s Calling is #14 while Cush Hunta Tenament Yaad track holds the #15 position for this week. Other track/singles to appear on one chart only this week is Sophia Brown’s, Lovers Rock track which is #24 on the New York Top 30 Reggae Singles Chart and the Familiar Roots Riddim compilation album produced by Kleva Roots Production which is #37 on Reggae Vibes Top 50 Albums Recommendations for the month of April.
