May 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Sacramento, CA - Be sure to arrive early to beat the 30,000 people expected to attend this event and pick your spot at one of the four main stages, where you will be thoroughly entertained with multi-cultural dances and shows.

For the past eighteen years, the Pacific Rim Street Festival http://sacramentoinsights.com/events/pacific-rim-street-fest has displayed the richness and diversity of many Pacific Rim cultures through cultural programs, entertainment, art and food.  The event also serves to enhance the community's knowledge of Asian/Pacific Island cultures in a fun and positive environment.

Frank Fat, the local restaurateur, in partnership with the Asian Pacific Rim Foundation, created a coalition of community leaders and succeeded in seeing his dream of a cultural street festival come to pass.  Through Frank’s leadership, the entire Sacramento region can now be proud to enjoy such a wonderful community event each May… a great way to kick off Summer!
