Gordon McKernan & McKernan Law Firm Announce New Attorneys

May 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Gordon McKernan and McKernan Law Firm are pleased to announce our newest attorneys.  Charles C. Boykin, Loren D. Shanklin and Michael J. Montalbano, III.  

Charles C. Boykin (Chadwick) was hired to represent our Spanish clients.  Chadwick graduated from Southern University with his Juris Doctorate in 2004.  Before joining McKernan Law Firm, Chadwick was a defense lawyer in South Carolina.  He returned to Louisiana in 2008 and represented plaintiffs in class actions for a large insurance company processing claims, worker’s compensation and litigation.

Loren D. Shanklin recently graduated from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center.  She started at McKernan Law Firm as a law clerk and upon passing the Bar exam in 2010, she was hired as an Associate at the firm.  The day after being sworn in, Loren was enrolled into a wrongful death case and took her first witness in open court, this case resulted in a multi-million dollar judgment.

Michael J. Montalbano, III received his Juris Doctorate from Southern University in 2006.  Michael began his career as a general practitioner in the areas of family law, successions and personal injury.  In 2009, he began to focus his career solely on personal injury and has since represented hundreds of plaintiffs in all types of negligence cases.
