Hopewell Valley Golf Club Members Approve Clubhouse Upgrade

May 24, 2011 - PRLog -- As a result of a recently completed 5-year Strategic Plan, the Hopewell Valley Golf Club in Hopewell NJ is planning a major upgrade to its clubhouse.  The club’s membership recently voted to proceed with a $350,000 renovation to the current clubhouse, a structure steeped in history and last upgraded in 1994.  The project, planned out by the architectural firm of Stephen Rhoads Architect LLC, consists of two phases:  Renovating the building’s exterior; and relocating/expanding the club’s “Grill Room” currently located at the lower level of the clubhouse to a more desirable location overlooking the course.

Located on 190 acres in Hopewell Township, the club boasts a lush 18-hole walking course as well as first-rate pool and tennis programs.  “With this project, we will be complimenting our beautiful course with an attractive clubhouse that makes full use of the picturesque vistas surrounding it.  Coupled with the warm and welcoming culture of our membership, this upgrade will make Hopewell Valley an attractive choice for golfers and their families who are seeking top notch facilities in an unpretentious social environment,” said Bill Stone, President of Hopewell Valley’s Board of Directors.  “We are grateful for the support of our membership, who overwhelmingly approved this important milestone for the Club.”

The exterior renovation will take place in June and July, with the interior changes to be completed during January and February 2012.
