NASCAR Driver Paulie Harraka Headlines Charity Benefit on June 18th @ Chrysler Museum

May 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Race car driver by day and Childhelp celebrity ambassador by night......Paulie Harraka will make a pit stop at the Chrysler Museum to help host The Childhelp Greater Detroit Chapter fundraising gala themed “Kids and Cars” on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills from 6pm to 11pm.

Chaired by David and Margo Grossman of Franklin, attendees will be treated to a fabulous night of dinner, dancing and a live and silent auction under the backdrop of Chrysler’s most exquisite collection of classic cars. Tickets are $150-$250. Dinner will be provided by Forte Belanger and entertainment will be provided by local trio Green Eyed Soul. The festivities will be Emceed by FOX 2’s Jennifer Hammond.

Childhelp operates a foster family and adoption agency with a focus on mentoring and life skills program for foster youth in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.

All proceeds from the gala benefit Childhelp’s PREP (Permanency Readiness through Education Preparation) program for foster care youth. The goal is to expand Independent Readiness Training, help secure housing, provide counseling, mentoring, offer coaching and guide at-risk youth through the education planning process. PREP will encompass a comprehensive array of services under a single agency.
