Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for appointment as Research Fellows in the following units:

Media And Visual Arts Section:

The applicant will be required to, among others, teach African Art and carry out research into the various aspects of African Art
Music and Dance:
The applicant will be required to, among others, teach and supervise graduate students as well as carry out research in various aspects of traditional and contemporary music


Required Skills or Experience

Media and Visual Arts Section:

The applicant must be a holder of a PhD or an MPhil in African Art.
Music and Dance Section:

The applicant must be a holder of a PhD or an MPhil in Ethnomusicology




3. Senior/Research Assistants- Institute of African Studies
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for appointment as Senior/Research Assistants with specialization in/as:

Film Editing and Production of Documentaries
Video Camera and Still Photography
Curator
Book-Binding


Required Skills or Experience

The applicants must be holders of either:

Bachelor of Fine Art/Humanities/Social Studies; or
Bachelor of  Publishing Studies




4. Professor - Veterinary Medicine

A PhD or Professional equivalent in the relevant field of Veterinary Medicine or Surgery
