Oldcastle Precast, Inc. Aquires Select Assets of Duratek Precast Technologies,

May 25, 2011 - PRLog -- May 2011: Atlanta, Georgia — Oldcastle Precast, Inc., a premier provider of precast concrete products, today announced that it has acquired select assets of Duratek Precast Technologies, Inc. for an undisclosed sum.  Duratek, a Florida based precast concrete company, specializes in the design, manufacture, and installation of precast concrete site walls, DOT walls, sound barriers, hurricane hangars, safe harbor marinas, precast homes, as well as Commercial, Residential, and Industrial structures. In addition, Duratek has recently filed for a patent on their "unitized" construction methods that create a virtual fortress for structures of any function and to date has manufactured and installed over 900 miles of precast concrete walls in the state of Florida.
The intellectual property and manufacturing assets gained through the procurement will allow Oldcastle Precast to take Duratek’s product line to a national level, offering all customers  the latest product technologies in the fields of environmental acoustics for industrial, commercial and transportation issues ; privacy walls for water treatment plants, airports, schools and government buildings ; environmentally-friendly perimeter wall systems for gated  communities and developments .
