Eric Tessmer Band Rocks Johnstown, PA, June 23rd & 24th @ Thunder in the Valley

Eric Tessmer has gone from being an Austin 6th Street staple to touring the world, creating partnerships with national brands and increasing his exposure… one fan at a time!

The Eric Tessmer Band is touring the world, releasing a new live album, and representing the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G by Samsung in the "Kick It with the Band" contest!   Catch them in Johnstown at Thunder in the Valley on Thursday and Friday, June 23rd and 24th at 7:00pm!

“This guitar prodigy plays like a man possessed” – Boston Globe.  Beloved by audiences throughout the world, the Eric Tessmer Band has captured the attention of fans from all ages as a result of their uncompromising musicianship and unbridled aggression.  Their music is organic and natural—they’re real and every note you hear leaps from the speakers and is completely unfettered by superfluous studio trickery.  Previous performances include: Stubbs—Austin, Antone’s—Austin, Summerfest—Milwaukee, Taste of Chicago, Montreal Jazz Festival, and the Johnstown Folk Fest—Pennsylvania.

The Eric Tessmer Band Summer Tour Kickoff will be at Headhunters in Austin on May 26th.  Tour stops include:  Kansas City, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Madison, Chicago, Boston, New York City, Pittsburgh, Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto.  Highlights include a night at the Mercury Lounge in New York City, two performances at Thunder In The Valley in Johnstown, Watkins International Speedway, and various theaters across New England!  The Eric Tessmer Band will arrive back in Austin in early September and will travel to India to perform multiple dates in Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, and New Delhi.  

“Kick It with the Band” includes the efforts of hundreds of Samsung and T-Mobile employees set across the country to kick it with nine musical acts on the verge of stardom.  The phones were used to promote the band in a national competition.  Eric Tessmer Band fans throughout the world showed their support on the Sidekick Facebook page and by helping secure a runner-up placement for the band and a promotional fund for their summer tour!
