BEAUTY QUEEN...NOW FITNESS QUEEN?

   It's not very usual for a beauty queen to be hosting a body building competition. So what makes this beauty queen the exception?   
   Daisi Pollard Sepulveda, Mrs. Jamaica will be the mistress of ceremonies for the 2011 LA Muscle Championship held at the LA Convention Center. Along with hosting the event,  Daisi will be interviewed by the Ellen Degeneres Show, and various media talking about her training for her upcoming competition at Mrs. Globe ( which will be held here in California this year).
With training methods traditionally unorthodox to most if not all her fellow beauty pageant opponents, Mrs. Sepulveda now incorporates the martial arts training system, Ren into her normal regimen of nutrition, weights, and cardio.  The beauty queen trains with her husband David Sepulveda who is the creator of the Ren system, 3rd degree black belt and is also an action stunt master/expert for the film industry.
A former fitness trainer and instructor herself, Daisi will be releasing a fitness version of her already popular, "The Model Professor" a lifestyle series about achieving self improvement with skills developed through modeling and pageantry.  With this upcoming release Daisi will inspire average women to achieving fitness goals beyond the going to the gym.
With the many fitness crazes out there from pilates to now zumba, fitness junkies are ready to try the new best thing. People follow by example, if this is how a Beauty Queen does it, what's stopping the suburban housewife, to the busy career woman to being in shape like a professional model as well.
